Take the LCM and you are done with the solution i.e. LCM(6,8,12) = 24
The handy trick to remember whether to use LCM or HCF is generalise by following
suppose two clock rings at an interval of 2,3 sec
Clock1 : 2.....4....6
Clock2 : ...3.......6
see the time where it intersects i.e. at 6 which is the LCM of(2,3). Its just for those who gets confused whether to use HCF or LCM in this typo question !

In question, they asked before
hence we have to take HCF of these three terms

then the amswer will be 2

If they asked after then we will go for LCM and answer will be 24
