Guys ..ans is ---A as (i) is sufficient to solve the equation..You are interpreting the question in wrong way...Question says..10/x >10/y which means By which option (i) or (ii) you can DEFINITELY say something about the equation that it is true or not...

Simplification:
simplifying the equation in question------
10/x>10/y => x
