Their ages are 20 and 15 now.
when peter was 15, paul was 10. and Now age of Peter is 2*10=20

EQUATION 2:X=2(Y-(X-Y))
SOLVING THESE,WE GET
X=20 Y=15

A is 20 b is 15 and when a was 15 then b was 10 thats twice is 20

SUM OF AGES : A+B=35
SUPPOSE, PATER AGE IS A AND PARUL AGE IS B. SO,
A = 2B
A+B=35
2B+B=35
3B=35
B=11.7
A=2(11.7)
A=23.3
