a's 1 day work = 1/10 and c's 1 day work = 1/15
in 2 days a and c finish = 1/10 + 1/15 = 5/30 or 1/6 work.
So a and c finish the work in 6 days.
Option C is the correct answer

1/10+1/6=16/60---->no
1/12+1/15= 9/60--->no
1/15+1/10= 5/30==1/6--->yes
so option c)

a can do work in 10 days i.e,1/10
b can do in 12 days i.e, 1/12
c can do in 15 days i.e 1/15
when a and b are employed work can be done in (1/10)+(1/12)=22/120
when b and c are employed work can be done in (1/12)+(1/15)=9/60
when a and c are employed work can be done in (1/10)+(1/15)=25/150=1/6
therefore when a and c are employed work can be done in 6 days
