A < E < B < C < D

these are in AP with cd = 4

A=x , E=(x+4), B=(x+8), C=(x+12), D=(x+16)

also, A+B+C+D+E = E
=> A+B+C+D = 0
=> X+(X+8)+(X+12)+(X+16)= 0
=> 4X +36 = 0
=> X = -9

SO, A=-9 , E=-5 , B=-1 , C=3 , D=7

(1) sum of A and B = -9+(-1) = -10
(2) greatest number = D = 7
(3) sum of the integers = A+B+C+D+E = -5
(4) product of the integers =ABCDE = (-9)*(-5)*(-1)*(3)*(7)= -945

sum of numbers is equal to E and the diff be numbrs is 4 so
A+E+B+C+D: (E-4)+E+(E+4)+(E+8)+(E+12)=E
4E=-20
E=-5

from the given question all numbers can not be positive some have to be negative to satisfy the condition.
and from the given question the asc order is A E B C D
now try out the options in the 2nd bit rather than a straight forward way.
so the greatest no would be 7 from trial and error
from this D=7, C= 3, B =-1, E = 5, A = -9 satisfy the condition hence we can answer the above qsns
