a² + bx + c = 0
x² - 3x - 3 = 0
a = 1, b = -3, c = -3
x = [-b ± √(b² - 4ac)] / 2a
x = [3 ±√((-3)² - 4(1)(-3)] / 2(1)
x = [3 ± √(9 + 12)] / 2
x = [3 ± √21] / 2
x ≈ (3 - √21) / 2 OR x ≈ (3 + √21) / 2
x ≈ -0.79 OR x ≈ 3.79
x ≈ -0.79, 3.79
