51=7^2+2
28=5^2+3
20=4^2+4

3^2+5=14

51-28= 23 the next no is 23-3=20
so next no is 8-3 =5

82=9^2+1
51=7^2+2
28=5^2+3
20=4^2+4...now see that 82,28 is in a series for 9 and 5
and 51 and 20 in a series for 7 and 4...so the next wl be 1^2+5=6
coz 9-4=5 and 5-4=1

the following sequence goes by the pattern (9^2+1),(7^2+2),(5^2+3),(4^2+4),...
so going by the sequence of the odd numbers being squared and one sucessive no.being added,the next no is 3^2+5=14

82 = 9^2+1
51 = 7^2+2
28 = 5^2+3
20 = 4^2+4

then next no is

14 = 3^2+5

NOTE [ We chose 3 as our next number bcz every alternate number has a differnce of 4 , 3 respectively then next difference should be 2]
i.e. 9[1st number] - 5 [3rd number] = 4
7[2nd number] - 4 [4th number] = 3
5[3rd number] - 3 [next number] = 2.

Ans is 5. 20+28+3=51 and28+51+3=82 hence x+20+3=28 So x=5

7*7+2=51
5*5+3=28
4*4+4=20
3*3+5=14

5,difference of 82 & 51 is 31,51 & 28 is 23, but difference of 31 & 23 is 8 which is same to difference of 28 & 20, so the next no. is 5.
