one ball cover the space inside the box=the volume of box of side 2 m .
so the volume of box which side is 2 m =8 m^3
hence the no. of balls ,the box of side 4 m can hold=4*4*4/2*2*2=8

But each ball diameter is 2m. I think 4 balls fit the box

Side of Square is 4m.
Diameter of Circle is 2m.
looking from front 4 balls can be fitted and 4 looking from back filling the square

Ans: 8 balls

Soln: The sides of cube are equal.
radius r= 1m hence diameter d=2r= 2m
It clearly shows that: If we observe top view , 4 ball can be held in the bottom of the cube and more 4 balls can be held on it. So, total no of ball= 4*2=8

(As side of cube is 4m. So, max 2 layers of 4 balls can be held)

surface area of the cubical box = 4*a^2=(4)^2*4=64
surface area of the ball=π r²=3.14*1
so maximum balls=64/3.14=20.38=20
