well d whole question was, an aircraft carries 520 people safely from kedarnath to dehradun. how many rounds it can take in 12hrs?.....
ans shud be B, coz statement 1 gives no of rounds it will need to take 521 people
and 2 takes time duration for 1 complete round

according to question,An aircraft carries 521 people safely from Kedarnath to Dehradun in 12 hours

CASE1-It can carry a maximum of 54 people at a time.
from here we get the no of rounds plane will make is 521/54 which is approx 10.
But these rounds must be completed within 12 hours.
but from option one we dont get any idea of how much time it took for 10 round.HENCE OPTION 1 IS INSUFFICIENT

CASE2-It takes 45 minute to fly from one city to other and 15 minute while waiting.
So total time required for each round= 1hr
hence total no of rounds it can take 12
but how many ppl it carries for every round is not mentioned in this option.since maximum capacity may be less than 40 and it will take more than 12 rounds
HENCE OPTION 2 IS ALSO INSUFFICIENT

CASE 3-combinig situation 1 and 2
total no of rounds it can take 12 and maximum person it can carry per round is 54.So the number of rounds may be 10,11 or 12
hence we don get exact answer
So ans - D

answer should be B. the question has given the time duration of the aircraft which is fixed. statement 1 states maximum capacity but it doesnt mean that each time 54 persons would b carried as it carries 521 ppl. it means 54 or less than this can also b carried. on the other hand statement 2 gives time information that it takes 1 hour for 1 trip hence 12 hrs for 12 trip or 6 rounds.

Answer is C according to options. because if plane carries 54 people in one time and it completes it's journey of carrying 512 people the round trips =6
now option if in one time it take 1 hour then in 2 hour it will complete it trip .So total no of trip it complete in 12 hours . So no of trips = 6

So answer is C. Bote alone can give the answer

option A is clearly the correct ans.
it only ask how many rouns it ha to take so clearly fill the plan with maximum capacity an take off .
12 hour time line is there to confuse only.

ANKWER Is D
IT TAKE 45 MIN TO REACH FROM 1 DESTINATION TO OTHER (ONE SIDE). A ND HAS TO WAIT 15 MINS
SO TOTAK TIME IT TAKES IS (45+45+15+15)=120MIN WHICH IS 2HRS.
IT TAKES 12 HRS SO NO OF ROUNDS WILL B 6
SO IF IT TAKES 6 ROUNDS AND HAVE PASSANGER CAPACITY OF 54, IT WONT B ABLE TO DEPART WHOLE PEOPLE i.e 521..
thats y asnwer is D.

total no. of round=512/54=9.48 appro. 10 round
aircraft takes 45+15min+15min(becoz craft will take waiting at time both side)
total time taken by crft in a round=75 min
now 12hr=12*60 min
now 12*60/75min
=9.6
option D
12*60/75=9.6

Bro here one round means a complete round i.e from Kedarnath to Dehradun to Kedarnath(makes 1 complete round).Not, only from Kedarnath to Dehradun(1/2 round).So,ans. B
