HIndu = 285
TOI = 127
IE = 212
now
Hindu and TOI both is = 20
TOI and IE both is = 35
Hindu and IE both is = 29
now suppose Hindu , TOI nd IE all is = x ;
so,only Hindu is = 285-20-29-x = 236-x ;
only TOI is = 127-20-35-x = 72-x ;
only IE is = 212-35-29-x = 148-x ;
now, 236-x + 72-x + 148-x + 20 + 29 + 35 + x + 50 = 500 590 -2x = 500
so, x = 45 this is the value who read all the 3 dailies.
so,result is = 236-45 + 72-45 + 148-45 = 191 + 27 + 103 = 321.

The answer is 45 people read all the three news papers and 321 people read only one news paper. Just draw a venn diagram with three circles and mark the corresponding parts using the given data. If you take the intersection part of all the 3 circles as 'x'. three expressios are formed as follows: 285-(20+29+x),212-(29+35+x) and 127-(20+35+x).these equations will giv people reading hindu,indian exp and times of india respectively. add (20+29+35+x) and 285-(20+29+x),212-(29+35+x) and 127-(20+35+x) and equate it to 450. x gives the intersection of 3 circles. then u can find individual readers by sybstituting in the expressions 285-(20+29+x),212-(29+35+x) and 127-(20+35+x).

now p(H)=285,p(IE)=212,p(TOI)=127,

Let all of three comman is = x
hindu=285-20-29-x = 236-x
Indian Express = 212-29-35-x = 148-x
Times of India = 127-20-35-x = 72-x
no read any newpaper = 50
sum of all = 500
236-x+148- x+72-x+50 = 500
506-3x = 500
x = 2
hindu = 234
indian express = 146
tof = 70
