Required volume ratio = 1:2:4
given : weight of 1cubic foot of cement=94kg
weight of 1cubic foot of sand=100kg
weight of 1cubic foot of gravel=110kg.
Taking the ratio by volume; cement:sand:gravel=94:100:110
required ratio = 1:2:4
ratio for proper mixture = 94:2*100:4*110
dividing by 2,we get 47:100:220 (answer).

The ratio of cement, sand ,and gravel is 1:2:4 by volume.
if, we assume the total volume is 1 cubic foot
then, by weight the ratio must be,
=> (1*94):(2*100):(4*110)
=> 47:100:220
Hence, the ratio should be 47:100:220 by weight to give proper mixture of 1:2:4 by volume.
