let d price of a ticket be Rs.100, so 3tickets cost 300 & 5tickets cost 500
5tickets purchased at price of 3 tickets ie., for 300, so amount saved s Rs.200,
% of 5 tickets = (200 /500)*100 =40 %

Let the price of 3 ticket be x Rs.
So,the price of 1 ticket be x/3 Rs.
Now, the price of 5 ticket is 5x/3 Rs..

But due to discount,5tickets can be purchase at a rate of 3 tickets will be xRs.
Amount saved=(5x/3)-x
(5x-3x)/3=1
x=3/2
x=1.5
3 ticket price=1.5Rs.
5 ticket price=2.5 Rs.
% of amount saved=(1.5/2.5)*100
i.e. 60%

let the Cost price of 1 ticket is Re 1
CP of 5 ticket is Rs 5.
SP of 5 ticket is rs 3
loss %=(5-3)/5 * 100 = 40% Ans
