Given S=8
R+H+O = ?
Each Variable should have unique and distinct value.
Each Letter, Symbol represents only one digit throughout the problem.
So 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0

Here S= 8
S – E = E => Obviously it will be 8 – 4 = 4 therefore E=4
Now, in logical way the result of 5digit number – 3 digit number = 4digit number.
Let’s assume 10000(5digit) - 100(3digit)= 9900(4digit)
So, from the above we can conclude that C=1, O=0, H=9
Now, E(4)-H(9)=R(5) => R=5
Finally R+H+O= 5+9+0=14

HERE+SHE=COMES
HERE is a 4 digit no so it will less than 10,000 & SHE is a 3 digit no so it will be less than 1,000.so their sum will be less than 11,000.
COMES being a 5 digit no must be greater than 10,000.so value of COMES lies b/w 10,000 and 11,000.
so, C = 1 and O must be =0
H=9
S=8
E=4
R=5
so R+H+O=5+9+0=14

and lets we assume :

e=4
h=9

now, COMES = 10348 and SHE= 894
