sum of 400 people(250m+150w)= 400*12=4800
sum of 250 men is 250*15=3750
sum of 150 women=4800-3750=1050
therefore 1050/150=7 units per day..
hence ans is 7 units per day

Total Productivity = (12*400) units per day
Total Productivity of men = (15*250) units per day
Total Productivity of Women = (12*400) - (15*250) units per day
Average productivity of women = Total Productivity of Women / 150
= 7 units per day

Let avg. productivity of women be x.
Therefore,
(150x+250*15)/(250+150) =12
solving we get x=7.

15 units are the average product of men hence total productivity of mens are 250*15

short cut:
150 corresponds to (15-12)=3
250 corresponds to (250*3)/150=5
therefore 12-x=5
x=7 units per day
