total no of choclate= 96
distributed among 5 year old grandchildren...
as given...
G gives 5 chocolates for every >5 year old
G gives 6 chocolates for every 5 year old= 5*12= 60 chocolates
6 chocolates for every 5 year old.

There should be one more possibility.......
when there is only one 5 old child.
then also total chocolates is= 6*1+12*5 = 96 chocolates

put x=11
then y=5
ans=11

this is data ssufficiency question by using both statement we can calculate the >5 yr
5x+6y=96,,
put x=12,y=6 for finding grand child but accordint to we recquired only>5 grnd child so
use 1st stmnt....19*5+1=96 means 19>5 yr child but in 2nd stmnt
