Explanation:
Let us assume right most two X are a , b
Then Sum of all the digits = 18 x 4 + a + b .......... (1)
Also Sum of the X before 7 = 18
Sum of the X between 7 & y = 18
and sum of the X between y & 8 = 18
So Sum of the 14 digit = 18 + 7 + 18 + y + 18 + 8 + a + b .....(2)
Equating 1 and 2 we get y = 3

sum of 14 digits of credit card is=18*4+x+y...eq1
(assume the last two term will be x & z)
now from above given question
three digits before 7,sum=18
three digits between 7 &y,sum=18
three digits between y&8,sum=18
and at last two no.-x,z(eq1)
so18+7+18+y+18+8+x+z=72+x+z
on solving above
y=3

Explanation:

because take xx7xx=xx7=7xx=18 and xx=11
in 7xxx xx=11 and last x=7
similarly for xx8xx xx=10
in yxxx x=8 and xx=10
xyx=18
7+y+8=18
y=3

3 ka multiple 12 so add first 12 and let last two is a and b respectvely so 18*4+a+b=credit card no then see 7 se phle teen digits he there sum is 18 after 7 3 digits unknown he dere sum is 18similarly y ka baad 18 8 ke baad a+b so this equation becomes 18+7+18+y+8+a+b,now 18*4+a+b ko iske sath equaate karo answer a jayega............

ANSR:a because 7+y+8=18(already given)
=> 15+y=18 =>y=18-15 =>y=3
