no. of spade = 13
no. of queen = 3 (excluding queen of spade)
no. of possible outcome = 13+3 = 16
probability = no. of favorable outcome/ total possible outcomes = 16/52 = 4/13

total cards=52
no. of spade=13
so, probability of spade=13/52
no. of queen(total)=4
so,prob. of queen=4/52
Now, as 1 queen will be chosen from spade i.e. it will be common=1/52

therefore,using formula..P(AUB)=P(A)+P(B)-P(AUB)
putting values
P(AUB)=13/52+4/52-1/52 =16/52 or 4/13.

but,one queen is included in spade..so queen=3
required probability=(13+3)/52=16/52=4/13

its 4/13..probability of getting queen is 4/52 and probability of getting spade is 13/52 but spade queen has been included so its 12/52

getting a queen in 4 ways and a spade in 13 ways since we have chosen the queen of spade
reqd prob=4+12/52
=16/52=4/13

Total queens r 4 out of which one is spade.
Nd total spades r 13 out of which one is queen
So total cards dat r either queen or spade are=13+4-1
So probability=16/52

spade includes queen of spade so if we count 13 spades then we must count remaining 3 queens 13/52+3/52=16/52

There are 4 queens in the 52 cards.
There are 13 cards in spades(Including 1 queen).
So we can select 4 queens or 12 spades excluding queen from 13 spades.
so 12+4=16
total probability is 16/52= 4/13

Probability of getting a Spade,P(b)=13/52
Common case: 1/52 (Queen of Spade)
ans: (4/52)+(13/52)-(1/52)=4/13

probability of getting spade=(13/52)
probability of getting queen=(3/52) already a spade queen taken above.
so the total probability =(13/52)+(3/52)=(16/52)
