Ans is 8000 miles
simply 10000*4/5=8000
or
take a,b,c,d,e are tyres then each tyre travells 8000 miles first car runs with
a,b,c,d for 2000 miles
b,c,d,e for 2000 miles
a,c,d,e for 2000 miles
a,b,d,e for 2000 miles
a,b,c,e for 2000 miles
so total distance travelled is 10000 miles and each tyre travells 8000 miles

wornout per tyre=10000/5=2000
miles per tyre=10000-2000=8000

Total distance=10,000
In this distance tyres will be 4,so each tyre covers 10000 each.
Total distance of four tyres=40000
Distance for one tyre=40000/5=8000.

to the question the 5 tyres are
equally interchanged. so each tyre
is used for 2 times. so

10000/5=2000 distance travelled by each set of four tyre.
no. of tyres in aparticular set =4.
each tyre travels = 8000.

ans is 8000
bcoz 4 tyres are running simultaneously to each other and fifth tyre is every time replace with the anyone of the 4 tyres in between the 10000 distance so that each tyre is running equal distance

8000 is the answer
as if we divide 10000 by 5 we get 2000 this is the distance for which each tyre takes rest ..... so 10000-2000=8000 is the distance for which each tyre should be used
