at 2:30 lorry returns and crosses car at 4:30 pm . Time taken is 2hrs. so, car will also take 2 hrs to reach Hyderabad

ANS: 2 hrs
The lorry overtakes the car at 9:00 am and reaches Hyderabad at 1:30 pm i.e 7 hrs 30 min to reach.
after it started back at 2:30 and again crosses car at 4:30
lorry takes 2 hrs to reach the car from hyd so the same by car too( irrespective of their speeds)

Ans is 6 hours
let the distance between the place at whick lorry overtakes car and hyderabed is 450 km.
So that means lorry travels 450 km in 4.30 hours then it takes rest for hour again it returns at 2.30 pm.
So it crosses car at 4.30pm after travelling 450/4.50*2=200 km in two hours.
So that means car travell
450-200=250 km in 7.30 hours
so it takes 200/(250/7.50)=6 hours to reah hyderabad by car.
