Here we have to apply working backworld from the option..

first optio 1
not possible the answer will be less then 2

option 2
Ratio of height of poles is 2:8=1:4
Now 1.6 is how much percentage of both poles height...

1st pole : 1.6/2*100=80%
2nd pole : 1.6/8*100=20%

ratio is 20:80=1:4

Hence the answer will be 1.6

You can apply same for option 3 if you want.

height from the grnd is=pq/(p+q)=8*2/(8+2)=1.6m

It will be easy to solve this question by similar triangles method. Answer will be 1.6
