odds in favor=a/1-a =5/3
probability of occurring of a event=a= 5/8
evens in against b=odds in favor of b=b/(1-b)=4/5
probability of occurring of b event=b=4/9
probability of occurring at least one event
=5/8+4/9-(5/8)*(4/9)
=0.625+0.445-0.278
=0.792
