ans is 120
20x=30(x-2)
on solving we get x=6
thus total money=20*6=120
here x is original price

let price of an orange is x.
if he can reduce the price by rs 2 he can buy 30 oranges...so 30(x-2)=total money now .
Similarly, if the price is not reduce then he can buy 20 oranges....so total money he have 20 * X.
So,30(x-2)=20x
or,30x-60=20x
or,30x-20x=60
so,x=6.
So tatal money he have 6 *20 = 120 (20*x)

15x-30=10x
5x=30
x=6

x=6
so total money=20*x=20*6=120 ans

20x=y.....1
30(x-2)=y....2
=> 30x-60=y
now from 1
x=y/20
put in 2
30*y/20-60=y
3*y/2-60=y
3y-120=2y
y=120
ans 120

with Rs.40 he buy the extra 10 oranges i.e...30-20=10
C.p of each orange is 40/10= 4.Rs
so for 30 oranges he had money is 40*3=rs.120

and after bargaining is x/30
and given that
(x/20)-(x/30)=2
after solving we get x=120

THEREFORE ACCORDING TO THE QUESTION
(X-2)*30=20*X
X=6
SO THE AMOUNT OF MONEY WILL BE 20*6=120

therefore 30(y-2)=x
and20y=x
solving we get y=6 and x=120
hence raj has Rs120
