However Shyam waits for 15mins at C to eat mangoes. Speed of Ram and Shyam are 70kmph and 50kmph resp. Find the time at which they meet..

Answer option:A
Total distance =180km
Ram can move 70km in 60min, then time is 12:00
Shyam also move 50km in 60min,then time is 12:00
Then the remaining distance from Ram is 50km to C and from Shyam is 10 km to C.
In 30min ram can move 35km,then the remaining distance to C is 15km and time is 12:30.
In 12 min shyam can move 10km, now shyam is at C and the time is 12:12.
After reaching C shyam waits 15min so, now the time is 12:12+15min=12:27.
Now, the distance between Ram and C is 15km.
Ram can move 7km in 6min, now the time is 12:36.
Shyam again starts from C and moves 7.5km in 9min now the time is 12:27+9min=12:36
so, the total distance is 7km+7.5km=14.5km.
Remaining distance is 0.5km...
Approximately Ram and Shyam meet around 12:36pm.....

Total distance =180km
Let they will meet t hours after 11:00 am
so, we can write a equation here
70*t + 50 ( t +1/4 ) = 180
t = 385/240
t =1 hour 36.12 mins
so, they will meet at 12:36 pm

it shoul be 12:30 i think..

taking option 12:30..
in 3/2h S travels 105km
in 3/2h R travels 75km
105+75=180km

plzz correct me if m wrng :)

distance B has to travell=60km
speed of A=50km/hr
time taken by A=60/50=1.2hr
they have started at 11am
after 1.2 hr time=12:20pm & also B waits there for 15mins,and they meet
after 15 mins=12:35pm
They meet after 12:35pm i.e 12:36pm

suppose they meet x hour after 11 am
(total distance move by by ram in x hour)+(total distance move by shyam in (x-(1/4))=total distance between station A and B
[(1/4 is minus because shyam make delay of 15 min )] ans 15 min = (1/4)
then
(70x)+[(65)(x-(1/4))]=180
x=1.45
then total time is equal to 11+1.45=12.45

12:30 105 62.5 (105+62.5 !=180)
fro options
12:36 110 69.5 (110+69.5=179.5 =180)
rest options exceed the value of 180
so
A is correct

on reching at c, shyam takes 87 mins
in 87 mins .....Ram.....covers 609/6 km
then distance left 120-(609/6)
now....
(70+50)*x=120-(609/6)
x=9
time taken=87+9=96
ans=12:36

for ram
t=120/70= 1 hr and 40 min
so he reaches at 12:40 pm
and shyam reaches in ! hr and some min and waits for 15 min
then they meet when ram reaches at c

let A travels 105km, so to meet at this point B has to travel(180-105)=75kms
time taken by A=105kms/70kmph=1.5hrs
and time taken by B=75kms/50kmph=1.5hrs
so they meet at 11+1.5=12.5=12:30pm
