hours hand takes 12 hours to complete 360 degrees and minutes hand takes 60 minutes to complete 360 degrees
so hours hand covers 110 degrees in 3 hours 40 minutes
minute hand covers 240 degrees in 3 hours 40 minutes
and finally angle between minutes hand and hours hand is 240-110 = 130 degrees

hours hand made angle=(360/12)*(11/3)=110
minutes hand made angle=(360/60)*(40)=240
angle b/w them is 240-110=130 degree

Formula for finding angle between hour hand and minute hand is:

(11*M + 60*H)/2
Where M is minute hand reading
H is hour hand reading

If answer is in negative , then neglect the negative sign.

here,
H=3 and M=40
So, angle= (11*40 - 60*3)/2
(440-180)/2
260/2
130 degree
