given that number of gift pack brought by panda is one more than the price in ruppes for each pack
panda had 380 ruppees which fell short of required ammount
from above condition we can factrorized the money into quantity*(quantity+1);
apply hit and trail method
1.380+20=400=20*20 false
2.380+40=420=20*21 true
3.380+21=401 no factor
4.380+10=390=39*10 false
so ans is b

it is clear that 19 x 20 = 380 by inspection.. so clearly 20 x 21 will be the amount required thus 420-380=40 is the correct ans
