if qn is for finding area, then

draw the graph
there will be 4 st lines
-x +2y = 100, -x -2y = 100
x +2y = 100 , x -2y = 100

will form a quadrilateral, comprising of 4 triangles ,passing through points
(100,50),(100,-50),(-100,50),(-100,-50)

total area = area of 4 right angled triangle = 4 * ( 1/2 * 100 * 50) = 10000 sq units.

for this question simply draw the graph then it wil be easiest question to solve.
for x= +100 and -100 y =0, for y= +50 and -50 x=0, so ploting the graps we have popints (0,50),(100,0),(0,-50)ans(-100,0) ,
now you can see 4 right angled triangle so total area = 4 x ( 1/2 x 50 x 100) = 10000.
