According to question,
Quantity of Water = 10% of 50 = 5 liter.
and, Milk = 45 liters
Let x br the amount of water to be added.
Now,
=> (5 + x) = 20% of (50 + x).
=> 5 + x = ( 50 + x ) / 5.
=> 25 + 5x = 50 + x
=> 4x = 25
=> x = 6.25 liter.

So 6.25 litres should be added to make the mixture 20% watery ( ;-) )

According to question,
Quantity of Water = 10% of 50 = 5 liter.
and, Milk = 45 liter
Let x br the amount of water to be added.
Now,
=> (5 + x) = 20% of (45 + x).
=> 5 + x = ( 45 + x ) / 5.
=> 25 + 5x = 45 + x
=> 4x = 20
=> x = 5 liter.

let add x ltr water to 50 ltr mixture
then 20% water=5+x
then, 50+x=5(5+x)
=>x=6.25
