First fill the 9L container and empty it into 16L container. Again fill 9L container and fill the 16L container completely. Now 9L container has 2 litres. Empty the 16L container and pour 2 litres into it. Again fill 9L container and empty it into 16L container. The 16L container has now 11 litres. Once again fill 9L container and fill 16L container completely from it. 4 litres are left in 9L container. Again empty the larger container and pour 4 litres from 9L to 16L. Fill 9L and empty it into 16L. 16L container has now 13 litres. Lastly fill 9L and completely fill 16L from it. 3 litres go into larger container and 6 litres remain in 9L container.

thr r 2 container
1st fill 9 lit container fully & put ths 9 lit water in 16 lit. container & do it again so total water should be 18 lit bt container is of 16 lit so remaining water will be 2 lit. do it 3 times thr will be 6 lit of water.

since 1st container contain 16 litre & other contain 9 litre then (16*6 -9*10)=6
