Anshu and Banke start from Basant pur towards Basantvihar in car and auto respectively. While Chanchal started from Basantvihar towards Basantpur in motor cycle. All of them started at 12:00 noon and the speed ratio of Anshu, Banke and Chanchal are in the ratio 5 : 3 : 4, and Anshu meets Chanchal after exactly1 hour of their start. At what time will Anshu and Banke reach Basantvihar.

1:48 pm and 3:00 pm

1:45 pm and 2:55 pm

2 pm and 3:30 pm

speeds are 5/12, 3/12,4/12(assume), 12x/5=60min; x=25 and 12z/4=60 min; z=20 so x+z=total distance= 20+25=45; now anshu time=45/speed=45*12/5= 108 min=1 hour 48 min and banke time=45*12/3=180 min= 3 hours so option 1

speed ratio is 5:3:4
so,lets assume their speed is 5x,3x and 4x in 1 hour respectively.
so,total distance 5x+4x=9x as after 1 hour anshu and chanchal meets with each other.
so,remaining 4x distance will be covered by anshu in 4/5 hours or 48 mins.
and total 9x distance is covered by banke in 9/3=3 hours
anshu will reach at 12+1h 48 min=1:48,and banke will reach at 12+3=3 pm.
ans.--option a)

hopefully 2-3:30
bcoz,let us assume the distance is ykm;time=dis/speed;1=y/9(relative speed)
hence,y=9km; banke takes 3hr to go basantvihar.......(12-1-2-3) so exactly at 3 they both will reach

As we know ,
Speed downstream = (u + v) km/hr.
Speed upstream = (u - v) km/hr.

so x-.5=2 => x=2.5
& y-.5=3.33 => y=2.83

Ans: 2.83-2.5=.33
