ANS: 240 Meters

crosses a platform in 30 seconds and a man standing on the platform in 18 seconds. Extratime take to cross the platform is 12 seonds

Length of platform = 72*(5/18)*12 = 240 meters

Converting 72 kmph into m/sec, we get 72 kmph = = 20 m/sec

Therefore, length of the platform = 20 * 12 = 240 meters.
