Solution

Let the investment of C = x
so that of B will be (x+5000)
and that of A will be (x+5000)+4000=(x+9000)
now according to given data x+(x+5000)+(x+9000) = 500000 so x = 12000
so profit share of A = 21000*35000/50000 = 14700

Let us,
C investment = x
B investment = x+5000
A investment = 4000+(x+5000) ............(a)

=>then the total of whole investment :

=> x+ (x+5000)+ (x+9000) = 50000
=> 3x+14000 = 50000
=> 3x= 50000-14000
=> x= 12000

putting the x value in equ^n (a) :

amount of A investment = 4000+12000+5000
amount of A investment = 21000

total profit of A recieves = (A investment /total investment ) * total profit

= (21000/50000)*35000
= 14700 is the right answer

option (D) is right

let c invest =x rs
so investment of b=x+5000
investment of c=x+9000
total investment=x+x+5000+x+9000
total=3x+14000
3x+14000=50,000
so x=12000
investment of A=12000
B=17000
c=21000
so out of total profit A receive=(12/50*35,000)
so Ans is = 8400
