taking the time in min so convert time into min=60*3=180
x= time spent on maths question
2x=time spent on maths question
x(200-50)+2x(50)=180
150x+100x=180
250x=180
x=0.72
now time spent on maths questions=2*0.72*50=72min

t=18/25
maths=50*2*t=72min

time for other=x,time for math=2x
x+2x=180
3x=180
x=60
time for math=2x=2*60=120ans

let x be the time taken to solve a question
200 ques to solve in 180 min
50 maths ques so time taken to solve them=50*2*x
time taken to solve remaining 150 ques=150*x
total time is=150*x plus 50*2*x=180
this gives x=0.72
which is the time to solve each question now since time required to solve maths problem is double and there are 50 questions so we get=50*2*0.72=72min
