If you take a negative number you'll have to take a positive one.
If you take -1 , you'll have to take +7 to make it 7-1 = 6

A is not correct because 5+1=6 is possible
B is not possible because 2+4=6 is possible
C is not possible because -3+9=6 is possible
E is not possible because: If you take one positive such as 5, youn can take another positive (+1) to make it 5+1=6
