thief steals a car at 2.30pm speed is 60 kmph
discovered at 3pm then owner takes the another car his speed is 75kmph
in 3.30 pm thief reached 60km
owner reached 37.5km
in 4.30 pm thief reached 120 km
owner reached 112.5km
in 5.00 pm owner over takes the car

ans : 5.00pm

reelative speed=75-60=15
distance to overtake thief just when he got to know=60*30/60=30km
~.~ d/s=t ==> 30/15==2
time to take to overtake=2hrs
discoverd at 3pm ==>3+2=5pm

Distance covered by the thieve in (3:00-2:30)=1/2 hr at 60km/hr=1/2*60=30kms
Their relative speed in the same direction=75-60=15
30kms is the distance to catch the thief at 15km/hr.
time=30/15=2hr.Therefore,2+3=5pm
