i suppose in question instead of played won should have been there,
it gives meaning that Michael(M) won 15 games T 14 & P 5
according to me final might have been played btn M&T & M was the winner so both played 15 matches, where M won 15 & T 14
in this sense ans would be c.15

i think in the qestion there should be :In the end it was seen that Michael won 15games, Topalov 14 games and Pavlov 5 games. then topalov played 14 (for win)+1(loss)=15

This question is wrong....becs acc to question total no of games played is 17..
so....pavlov will have to be there in atleast 8 matches

answer..1.(c)Pavlon has played only 5 games means his chance of participation in game 11 is minimum.
2.(c) topolov has played 15 games and in 15th game he got out.

In starting 8 games Michael won and played alternatively with Pavlov and Topalov,
In 9th game michale and topalov played
In 10game michale and pavlov played
and in 11game michale and topalov played, HENCE PAVLOV NOT PLAYED

Total 11 games are played as no player is left not so count Topalov game it is 6
