Answer is 800km.

Explanation: 2/5 of the total trip is 1200km. Total Trip is x(2/5) = 1200. So total trip is 3000km.
1/3 of the total trip travelled by car. Means 1000 km travelled by car.
Rest of the journey travelled by train means 3000-1200-1000 = 800km travelled by train.

answer is 8000 bcoz 1200=2/5(x)
x=3000.
travelled by car=1000
travelled by air=1200
travelled by train=3000-1000-1200=800

2/5(x)=1200
x=3000 km.
1/3 of whole trip is travelled by road i.e, 1000 km
1200 km+1000 km=2200 km
therefore distance travelled by train is 3000-2200=800 km.
