Suppose the cost price of articel is 100,
then selling price is 100+10% = 100+10= 110.
If he sells at double price it becomes 110*2=220
so.. [220/100]*100=220 [ selling price ]
so profit = selling price - cost price
= 220-100
= 120
so ans is (b) 120%

Let cost price of a certain article is 100 Rs.
then the selling price is [ 100 + (100 x 10%) ]
100 + 10 = 110
It he sells at double price then the selling price becomes 110 x 2 = 220 Rs.
so the profit = 220-100 = 120 Rs.
hence the answer is (b) 120%

Let CP of of an aritcle is Rs 1
now the SP of an article is 110% of Rs 1=1.1
SP will be double then new SP will be 1.1*2=2.2
Profit=SP-CP
profit=2.2-1=>1.2
Now % profit=1.2*100/1=120% is the ans
so the option b will be correct.
