let speed of goods train is y km/hr.
distance travelled by goods train in 6 hours=6y km.
relative speed =(80-y)km/hr.
since passenger train overtakes goods train in 4 hours. so,6y=4*(80-y)
so, y=32km/hr.

passenger train travels at a speed of 80 km/h after 6 hours it had traveled distance 480 km(6*80).
but goods traveled same distance in 4 hours .so speed=distance/time (480/4) =120 km/hour.

It is simple problem
Passenger train travel only 4 hours at speed of 80 km/h so total time is 80 * 4 = 320
similarly good train travel 6 hours + 4 hours = 10 hours and distance to cover is 320
simply speed of good train is 320/10 = 32 Answer

Passenger train travels for 4 hr
So distance covered by it= 80*4=320km.
Now good train has traveled for (6+4)hrs=10hr
But covered same distance as passenger train.
So speed of good train=(320/10)=32km/hr

goods cross the distance in 4 hours,so distance in 4 hours=480/4=120kmph

Speed of Passenger rain = 80km/h and overtakes goods train in 4 hours
Therefore Distance covered by the Passenger train is = speed * time = 80*4 = 320km
Good Train leave 6 hour before Passenger train hence Time Traveled = 6h
Speed of Good Train = distance/time = 320/6 = 53.3km/h

let y be the speed of goods train...
And good train travel on that time ( 6 hours + 4 hours) = 10 hours and distance covered is y*10
so speed is 80*4=y*10
320=10y

80*4=320km.is the distance traveled to over take goods train.
goods train also travel same distance but in 10h hours
hence speed =320/10=32 km/h
