80 m bcoz he walked 20 m towards east then he had to walk north 100 so he had cover 20m so 100-20= 80m

Lets look at east and west movement.
90 m to East. Then after second right 30 m to west. Gives a total of 60 m to East.
Then looking at the north south movement.
20 m to south after first right turn. And 100 m to north. Gives a total of 80 m to north.
Thus combined affect is 60 m east and 80 m north.
Applying Pythagoras theorem, root[(60^2)+(80^2)] = root(3600+6400) = root(10000) = 100 m
