Let the leap of dog is x and leap of cat is y
then 3x=4y and 5y=4x
y=4x/5
solving this we get 15:16

4 leaps of cat = 3 leaps of dog

⇒ 1 leap of cat = 3/4 leap of dog

Cat takes 5 leaps for every 4 leaps of dog.

So the required ratio is (5× Cat′s leap) : (4 X Dog's leap)

= (5 × 3/4 dog′s leap) : (4 X Dog's leap)

= 15 : 16
