look its like this:

so if we will find the height of ||gm then we will see its like
sin45=height/7. and tan45=height/base.
=>height=7/sqrt2 and height=base.
so now fig can be found like this:

7/sqrt2 +(14-(7/sqrt2)) so, [7/sqrt2 +(14-(7/sqrt2))] - 9 = 5.ans

first of all manish goes 7 km south-east and after that 14 km towords west and then he is go 7 km in north-west direction then right now manish on the direction line west ,after that he goes 9 km in the direction of east towords home then
14-9=5 km from home
