Avinash does 1/15 work in a day
Bada does 1/12 in a day
In 2 days: they do 1/15 + 1/12 = 9/60 of the work

Now 9/60 * 6 = 9/10 of the work is done in 12 days.
Remaining 1/10 of the work needs to be done.
13th day 1/12 of the work is done by B and 1/10-1/12 = 1/60 of the work remains which is then done by A in (1/60) / (1/15) = 1/4 th of a day.

therfore the ans is 13 1/4 days.

LCM(15,12)=60
Avinash's per day efficiency=60/15=4
Badal's per day efficiency=60/12=5
now acc. to the question they work alternate days
so sequence will be,4+5+4=13
or another sequence will be,5+4+5=14
but in option 13 is given so ans is 13

Ans willbe 13 1/4 only when bada starts work on first day and avinash starts work on 2nd day ........alternatively
