value at the end of 5 years = 1250*(0.8)^5 = Rs 409.6

1250 ---> 1000 ---> 800 ---> 640 ---> 512 --> 409.6

Hence at the end of five years itz value should be 409.6

(I have reduced the value every time by 20% in the above explaination)

Rs. 409.60
As the value of machine at the end of each year is depreciated by 20% of its value at the beginning of the year, so value at of machine at the end of a year is 80% of its value at the beginning of the year.
Thus value at the end of 5 years = 1250*(0.8)^5 = Rs 409.60
