if there are x workers in day and each loaded y boxes
then boxes loaded in day =xy
boxes loaded in night = 3/4 *y*4/5 *x = 3/5 *xy

total boxes loaded = xy+3/5 *xy = 8/5 xy
fraction of all the boxes loaded by two crews did the day crew load = xy/(8/5 *xy) =5/8 .. option d

Night crew = 4 workers, day crew = 5 workers
Each night worker loads 3 boxes, each day worker loads 4 boxes

So:
The day crew loads 5 x 4 = 20 boxes
The night crew loads 4 x 3 = 12 boxes
Total they both could do = 32 boxes

The day crew loaded 20/32 = 5/8 of all the boxes.

Ratio of boxes loaded in night to boxes loaded in day = 3/4 *4/5=3/5

so ratio of boxes loaded in day to total boxes loaded by two crews = 5/(3+5) = 5/8

Ratio of boxes loaded in night to boxes loaded in day = 3/4 *4/5=3/5

so 3x boxes are loaded by night crew and 5x boxes are loaded by day crew.
total boxes loaded = 3x+5x=8x

so ratio of boxes loaded in day to total boxes loaded by two crews = 5x/8x=5/8

then box loaded durin nit = 3/4X
ALSO let y be no of workers durin day
then no of workers durin nit = 4/5 y
therfore,no of box loaeded during day =xy
no of box loaded durin nit = 3/4X*4/5Y = 3/5 XY
ACC to ques: the req ratio = xy/(xy + 3/5 xy)
=xy/(8/5)xy
=5/8

ratio of night to day = 3/4 : 4/5 = 3/5
so ratio in loded box in day crew = day/total
total box= night + day = 3+5 = 8
so it bocome 5/8 ans..

Assume the number of boxes loaded in dayshift is equal to 4, then the number of boxed loaded in night shift = 3
Assume the worked on dayshift = 5, then workers on night shift = 4

So boxes loaded in day shift = 4 x 5 = 20, and boxes loaded in night shift = 3 x 4 = 12
so fraction of boxes loaded in day shift = 2020+12=58
