There r three coins of Re 1, 50 ps, 25 ps having ratio of 13:11:3.
if There r three coins of Re 1, 50 ps, 25 ps . No of coins are 13x,11x and 3x respectively..
Then 13x + 11x/2 + 3x/4 =77
x = 77*8/ (104+44+6) = 77*8/154 = 4.

so no of 1 rupee coins = 13x = 13*4= 52 coins.

@pargatpal g if we put 4 in eq 13x=52 11x/2=22 and 3x/4=4 but total is not 77 rs ????

Total sum of money is Rs 77
So this sum of Rs 77 consists of Re 1, 50 ps , 25 ps
1Re 50 ps 25 ps
Now consider the ratio 13 : 11 : 13
1Re= 100 ps
? = 25 ps
25* 1=100*?
therefore ?=(1/4)
Similarily 50 ps= (1/2)
Now 13: (11/2): (3/4)
lcm(1,2,4)=4
So ratio 52 ; 22: 3
1Re coin (52/77)*77=52 coins
If 50 ps coins then (22/77)*77=22*2=44 coins (Since two 50 ps make 1Re coin)
Similarily 25 ps coins then(3/77)*77=3 *4=12 coins (Sice four 25 ps make 1Re coin)

13x + 11x/2 + 3x/4 =77

x = 77*8/ (104+44+6)
= 77*8/154 = 4.

Therefore the total no of 1 rupee coins = 13x = 13*4= 52 coins.

let 1Re coins=13x
50ps coins=11x
25ps coin=3x
total number of coin=13x+.5(11x)+.25(3x)=77
x=4
13x=13*4
=54 ans
