52% of class takes lunch in canteen.

Ratio boys to girls is = 6:4 (60:40 out of 100)

60% boys take lunch in canteen = 60*60/100 = 3600/100 = 36Boys
40% girls take lunch in canteen = 40*40/100 = 1600/100 = 16Girls

Total = 52students out of 100students.
% = 52*100/100 = 52%

ans is 52%......let boys be 6x and girls be 4x total strength of class 10x then 60%of boys means 36x/10 & 40 % of girls means 16x/10......total = 52x/10 hence % of class in canteen= (5.2x/10x)*100=52%

let 100 student in class then 60 should be boys and 40 should be girls.
