like
8+12=20

so 11+??=20
answer is 9

9 is the answer.u just add first num n last num u will gt 20.n 2nd num n 2nd num from last u get 20.so 11+9=20.

the difference between 8 and the rest of the numbers 2, 14, 6 and 11 are 6,6,2,3 respectively
from the other end the difference between the last number 12 to the rest of the numbers 18,6 and 14 are 6,6,2..... so the number in the blank space must have a difference of 3. hence the number is 9

sine if we approach from the both ends altenatively we see a pattern of alternating addition and substraction of same number......

the answer is 19 as suresh is 10th means 10 students+ second to right of suresh means there is one student between her and him. she is eighth from right end means there are 10+1+8=19
