5 turns because for the first 3 turns we can eliminate 3 numbers afetr that we are remaining with 6 num wen i say four numbers 1 num must coincide with his 3 num,,,so now 5 num are remaing in the next turn one mor will match ... so remaining num will be one more num

I think it is not possible in less than 6 turns.
But whether 6 turns are sufficient for worst case, that needs proper checking.
