8 jumps are needed
(3-2)+(3-2)+(3-2)+(3-2)+(3-2)+(3-2)+(3-2)+3=10 feet

8 jumps to make get out of the well.

For every jump, he jumps only 1 feet. (Because , every 3feet, he fall back 2feet)

So, for 7jumps, he reach 7feets.

In 8th jump, he reach 7+3ft = 10feet and get out of the well.

So, 8 jumps needed.

8 jumps is the answer
Reason: The frog climbs= 3 feet per jump
It falls = 2 feet per jump
total rise = 1 feet per jump
doing this continously up to 6 jumps it climbs= 18 feet
but falls= 12 feet
total rise in 6 jumps= 18-12= 6 feet now he is at 6 feet he has to climb 4 more feet
in the 7th jump again he climbs 1 more foot(3 rise-2 fall) and reaches to 7 feet mark but still needs 3 feet to jump out of the well
therefore in final 8th jump he will be out of the well, 7+3= 10 feet.

In 7 jumps, it will cover 7 feet.
In 8th jump, it will move out of well.
