(#M40040244) HR INTERVIEW QUESTION TCS Keep an EYE Keep an eye puzzle Keep an eye puzzle

The TCS pattern:
1) Email writing!
2) Analytic Aptitude (Quant + Logical)

Email writing consists of words and phrases to be used in your email. Time: 10min

The email is checked by a computer so just be careful of spelling mistakes and grammatical mistakes.

Don’t try to write Hi-Fi emails, it is not possible in 10mins.

Be direct and to the point.

Warning: It is mandatory to USE ALL the words and phrases, but sequence can be changed.

Analytic Aptitude! 30 questions – 80mins!

For TCS aptitude test never practice from R.S. Agarwal and associated books. The level of difficulty is a bit high! (Don’t be scared, You can Crack it!)

->Choose any CAT preparation material
-T.I.M.E
-IMS
-CAT book by Arun Sharma
For Arun Sharma solve only LOD-I questions.

->Topics to study
These are my observations from some of the previous year TCS papers
*Time, speed, distance.
*Time and work
*Mixtures, ratio, proportions and variations.
***Permutations, combinations.
***Probability
*Simple geometry and some problems AP, GP, HP.

->Study Plan!

1 month of focused and dedicated study will help you crack TCS provided you have good basics in topics mentioned above. Permutation Combination and Probability are really important don’t neglect it. 4-5 questions are there from it.
Solve about 500 problems relating to the above topics!

Remember: Quality is important than Quantity!

After it, now the most important step of your preparation

Before it, Please bookmark these websites: http://www.campusgate.co.in/
http://www.m4maths.com/

These sites are like the Bible!

The important step is solving all possible TCS questions! At campusgate you will have loads of it!
Just take time off, copy all questions to MS Word, take print out and solve all of them.

TCS questions REPEAT.

-> On the D-Day

You should either do hard work or smart work!

If you are confident enough go for Aptitude test in the 1st slot itself as I did. The more you delay the more anxious you get!

If not than delay and get to know the questions from friends in previous slot as 3-4 questions get repeated.

Be calm and confident!

Don’t get worked up if you are not able to solve any question, Just move on!

Just remember “Harder you practice the more Luckier you get!”

HR-TR-MR interview

For me fortunately or unfortunately I had to face only 1 round of interview in which all HR-TR-MR was conducted.

Just be yourself, don’t fake it. They are smarter than you are!

Nothing much to share about my interview as it was for hardly 15-20mins.

I had done my internship in Tata Teleservices so I myself initiated the topic and showed my internship certificate! Remember you are there to sell yourself so don’t hesitate to mention your achievements!

The question which made me get seleted in TCS
Why TCS?
Prepare well for this question!
I answered
Sir 3 reasons why I want TCS
i) (The Obvious) It is the number 1 company in India in IT sector
ii) Out of the total profits 66% goes to charity, shows the greatness of the company!
iii) 98.6% of the profit comes from repeat customers which shows the customer satisfaction! (He told me to justify it! Which I did)

Tips for Interview:
Maintain a book for interview in which you write all answers for all famous interview questions!
Note down the important points and facts in HR talk. The above 2 numbers came from the HR talk

Would like to end it with what are grandmothers always say,

“Karmanye Vaadhika-Raste, Maa Phaleshu Kadachana”
